Framing Guide

To make sure you order your art print at the right size, you need to know how you want to frame it.

Note: All prints are sold without mats and frames.

Borderless Prints

If you choose a borderless print it will fit in standard off-the-shelf frames without a mat.

Buy a frame that is the same size as the print. 

Borderless Prints in a bigger frame

If you choose a borderless print it can also go in a bigger frame with a mat. We recommend that you use a little bit of tape to attach the print to the back of the mat to keep it in place. 

5” x 7” print fits in 8” x 10” frame with mat

8” x 10” print fits in 11” x 14” frame with mat

11” x 14” print fits in 16” x 20” frame with mat

Prints with Border

If you choose a print with a border you can frame it as is, the border looks like a white mat.

Buy a frame that is the same size as the print, no need to buy a mat.
